David has particular expertise in the Aged Care sector. He also applies his professional expertise on a pro bono basis as Auditor for the Cancer Care Centre and ACMA Foundation. Mike Sweeney has made a career out of the latter since 1992, earning a strong reputation for his work in biotechnology, property, wholesale, not-for- profit organisations and start-up businesses around Australia and in Singapore. His particular professional interest? Developing strategies which build business growth. One of his most rewarding assignments - developing a successful business turnaround strategy for a company in the IT services sector. Outside work, Mike is passionate about his family, movies and basketball. His community commitments have also grown from his passions. Key among his specialist skills are auditing, management accounting, and governance of indigenous communities, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and Cooperative Research Centres. A career highlight includes examining the Finances and Governance of more than 30 Indigenous Corporations across Australia. When he's not working in the bush, he heads to the coast.
