Steve Waugh to launch Adelaide's newest housing display
Australian cricket legend Steve Waugh has thrown his support behind AVJennings’ newest residential development, Eyre at Penfield and will officially launch the project’s new display village next month.
The former Test captain will visit Adelaide for the launch event on Saturday 22nd February where the local community will be invited to view the new display homes and enjoy other activities throughout the afternoon; including cricket games, hot air balloon rides, face painting, jumping castle, plus a free BBQ and giveaways.
This unique display village features display homes located around Eyre Park, boasting the Eyre at Penfield lifestyle and park side living options. The Eyre master-planned development is located on Womma Road, in Adelaide’s northern suburbs and is in close proximity to Elizabeth and Munno Para.
The Eyre display village will feature 15 homes from eight of South Australia’s leading builders: Sterling Homes, Dechellis Homes, Hickinbotham Homes, Statesman Homes, SA Housing Centre, Weeks Peacock Homes, Fairmont Homes and D&C Homes.
AVJennings State Manager, Brian Virgo, says the opening of the Eyre at Penfield display village is a major milestone for the project.
“Eyre at Penfield offers a wide range of house and land packages, linked together by a network of community parks, sporting grounds, waterways, walking and bike trails,” said Mr Virgo.
“The opening of the display village is great news for homebuyers and we’re naturally thrilled to have Steve Waugh on board to test out the facilities first with the local community.
“We invite homebuyers – and cricket lovers – to come along on the day to meet one of Australia’s most successful sportsmen and see the new display homes at Eyre at Penfield.”
Well-connected with nearby schools, childcare, shopping centres and public transport, Eyre at Penfield boasts 25 hectares of open space, incorporating 12 community parks dispersed throughout the project to encourage more active lifestyles and a true sense of community spirit.
The Eyre at Penfield community is in its early stages of development and on completion will include approximately 2,000 new homes, with other state-of the-art amenities to include a local shopping centre, district playing fields, an extensive sporting complex, waterways and easy to access walking and bike trails.
Stage one at Eyre Penfield has now sold out, with Stage Two coming soon. Land prices start from $119,000.
Eyre at Penfield is the latest AVJennings development in South Australia following the St Clair project at Cheltenham, The Point at Noarlunga and Pathways at Murray Bridge and River Breeze at Goolwa.
