Work to start on Adelaide’s tallest residential building next month
Off-the-plan sales target of $50 million reached in six weeks
Work will start next month on Adelaide’s tallest residential building with the developers reaching their off-the-plan property sales target of $50 million this week.
One hundred and thirty five apartments have now sold, with the project having only been launched to the market six weeks ago on May 10.
The project has been most popular with owner-occupiers who have snapped up 55% of the 135 apartments sold so far.
The strong sales have led joint venture partners Starfish Developments and the Asian Pacific Group to bring forward the release of Vue’s penthouses to July.
Starfish Developments Managing Director Damon Nagel said we anticipate the strong sales at Vue will continue, particularly over the next week as buyers look to take full advantage of the stamp duty relief before revisions come into effect on July 1.
“Buyers who purchase at Vue in the next week will save up to $21,300,” said Mr Nagel.
“Stamp duty relief has certainly contributed to the success of the project to date along with the location, project design and sensible pricing.
“Many of the buyers at Vue are planning to move into the city from the suburbs and the building will be home to a mix of young professionals and empty nesters looking to downsize and enjoy a low maintenance city lifestyle.”
Vue’s unique twisted glass fronted design ensures that there’s still plenty of choice for interested
buyers within each of the project’s key viewing corridors - over the city, southern parklands towards the hills and Adelaide coastline down to Hallett Cove.
Vue on King William will incorporate 205 apartments with a maximum of 10 apartments on a single level.
The apartments are predominately one and two bedroom with a single Penthouse level featuring five penthouse apartments.
Vue will bring a new style of residential architecture to Adelaide with its 5 level podium, recessed Level 6 roof top garden, pool deck and recreation centre and 21 level glass frontage.
The building has been designed by leading architects Woods Bagot, led by Principal Gavin Kain, alongside Design Architect Enzo Caroscio and a South Australian team. The firm also drew on the expertise of its global studio network for the project.
Vue on King William is a joint venture between local development firm Starfish Developments and the Asian Pacific Group, developers of The Watson, Walkerville.
