Public input sought on plans for Parafield Airport
The community has the chance to have its say on a new five-year plan to guide development of Parafield Airport at a public meeting to be held on Wednesday 11 April 2012.
Parafield Airport Limited (PAL) this month released its Preliminary Draft Master Plan and Environment Strategy for public comment.
The meeting is an integral part of Parafield Airport Limited’s (PAL) review of the 2004 Master Plan and Environment Strategy for the airport.
PAL Managing Director Mark Young says those who attend the meeting will be able to provide comment and suggestions for the airport’s development.
“The plans will include proposed changes to how the airport’s land is used and how the airport itself develops over the next five years,” Mr Young said.
“This meeting is an integral part of our ongoing consultation commitment and planning process, and we welcome the community’s involvement and input.
“Comments from the public and guidelines from other stakeholders and government authorities will be incorporated where practicable in the Draft Master Plan and Environment Strategy.”
The meeting will be held from 6.30 to 8.30 pm, Wednesday 11 April 2012, at Parafield Flying Club, Lockheed Lane at Parafield Airport. Light refreshments will be provided.
