Regattas and Rymill partner for gourmet riverside dinner
The Panorama Suite with its sweeping views over the River Torrens is the location for a gourmet dinner on July 19 where specially created dishes by Regatta’s Head Chef Derek Salmon will be carefully matched with the wines of Rymill Coonawarra.
The six course degustation menu has been developed in consultation with Rymill’s winemaker Sandrine Gimon to ensure the textures and flavours of both the food and wine are perfectly balanced.
Guests at the dinner will have the chance to learn more about food and wine pairing on the evening from Derek and Sandrine.
The menu will showcase some of the best South Australian produce including Barossa Valley Squab, Adelaide Hills Black Pudding and smoked speck from Nairne based Skara Smallgoods.
Wines to be served on the night include the 2010 Coonawarra Brut, 2010 mc2 blend and 2008 June Traminer Botrytis Gewürztraminer. The full menu with matching wines can be viewed http://www.regattas.com.au/up-coming-events?eventID=9733
The cost is $130 per person with a maximum of ten people per table. Bookings are essential and tickets are limited – bookings can be made through Regattas Bistro + Bar on 8210 6785.
Guests will receive complimentary parking in the Riverbank car park with their booking.
