Welcome Rebecca
Rebecca has been informing grassroots opinion for more than 25 years – both as a journalist and as a public relations professional living in South Australia. She has produced international headline-news across a range of media outlets spanning print, digital, and broadcast.
She also has developed and delivered comprehensive communication programs for some of Australia’s largest non-government organisations.
Rebecca began her career at Messenger Newspapers covering the colourful characters of Port Adelaide before taking on an award-winning role with flagship national daily - The Australian. A nose for news, a love of advocacy, and a passion for social justice, health, and wellbeing has enabled Rebecca to carve out a communications career in some of the largest non-government organisations in Australia. These include the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and AnglicareSA, where Rebecca was involved in strategic communications and media relations. As both a leader and team-player, Rebecca has helped harness the power of humanity to drive up blood donations for patients, improve access to mental health services and spotlight the emerging rental affordability crisis as it hit disadvantaged tenants living on the margins.
She is highly regarded by her peers for her insightful, high quality and engaging journalism and by her clients for her practical and responsible approach to communication and influence.
