Enhanced Lifestyles Appoints Respected Industry Leader As New CEO
Disability support services provider Enhanced Lifestyles has appointed respected industry leader Tim Baker as its new Chief Executive Officer.
The former State Director, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, will bring with him more than 16 years’ experience in service delivery contract management, NDIS legislation and service quality regulation.
Enhanced Lifestyles is a unique disability services provider led by customers for customers.
Established more than 30 years ago, Enhanced Lifestyles remains a member-governed not-for-profit with a Board predominantly comprised of people who use its services.
Enhanced Living provides disability services including high quality personalised in-home care and supported independent living to social and community-based activities across metropolitan Adelaide, Riverland and the Limestone Coast.
Enhanced Lifestyles Chair Trudy Gepp said the Board was delighted to have appointed a leader of Tim Baker’s calibre as CEO.
“Tim has a strong track-record of success within the disability services sector with the ability to help navigate the changing regulatory and funding environment,” said Ms Gepp.
“His experience, knowledge and networks will help continue to drive the organisation’s vision into the future, underpinned by our belief that everyone has the right to decide how they live their life.”
Tim takes up the role as CEO on June 5 and is keen to meet Enhanced Lifestyles customers and team members to get an understanding of the services provided by the organisation and impact on people’s lives.
“I’m looking forward to leading an organisation that truly lives by its values, and has values that closely align with my own, said incoming CEO Tim Baker.
“I have had the privilege of seeing firsthand the positive impact that well-run, individualised disability services have on the lives of people living with disability, said Mr Baker.
“Enhanced Lifestyles is true industry leader shaped by being established and led by people who are not only customers but also fierce advocates for other customers.”
