Sue Raw appointed Baptist Care SA's new CEO
Former Baptist Care SA Chief Financial Officer Sue Raw has been appointed as the organisation’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Sue has been Acting CEO since the beginning of the year and will take up the role permanently from May 7.
Sue has worked in a variety of corporate and not for profit (NFP) roles for over 30 years, of which over 12 have been in the NFP and community services sector.
She is a person of high integrity, with a high value of accountability and transparency in her leadership. Her robust financial acumen, coupled with her strategic mindset and systematic approach, equip her to excel in the CEO role.
Baptist Care SA Chair Christine Partington said Sue actively fosters and builds valuable external stakeholder relationships and partnerships to strengthen the organisation’s standing in the community.
“Her personable nature, both with external stakeholders and our team, enriches the fabric of the organisation,” said Ms Partington.
“The Board has great confidence the organisation is in good hands, with Sue working diligently with the Board, Executive and our team to enable our incredible work for the vulnerable and marginalised in our community.”
