The festival will be held for the first time in the Norwood Concert Hall after a partnership was formed with the City of Norwood, Payneham and St Peters. 

SPRAA Achieves National Skills Recognition

The Australian swimming pool and spa aftermarket industry has achieved a major breakthrough to be nationally recognised by an independent skills body.

The recognition follows the recently formed Swimming Pool Retailers Association Australia (SPRAA) being accepted as a member of the Construction and Property Services Industry Skills Council (CPSISC).

The company also has jumped 8 places to 27th on BRW’s list of Top 500 private companies in Australia.

St Ignatius Students Build Houses For Homeless Cambodians

Staff and students from Saint Ignatius’ College in Adelaide have returned from a special trip to Vietnam and Cambodia where they were given a rare opportunity to work with a variety of non-government organisations.

These organisations included the Tabitha Foundation in Cambodia with whom the group spent time with to assist local contractors construct simple houses for poverty-stricken families near Phnom Penh.

Five Star Rating For South Australia’s Jobs Statewide

South Australia’s Jobs Statewide has been given a five star rating - making them one of Australia’s highest performing commonwealth government contracted employment providers.

The 5-star rating, the highest a provider can achieve, was announced as part of the first set of ratings released by the commonwealth government since the new Job Services Australia contract was established in July 2009. Job Services Australia replaced the Job Network.
